& International Frontier Symposium on "Glial Cells and Myelin Diseases"

Glial cells are the predominant cell type in the central nervous system and play a crucial role in brain function. In recent years, the physiological functions of oligodendrocytes and myelin, along with their significant roles in brain diseases, have become a major focus of extensive and in-depth research within the fields of neuroscience and neurology. To promote domestic and international collaboration and exchange in glial cell research and related fields, the Glia Branch of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience will hold its Chinese Neuroscience Society (CNS) - Glial Branch2025 Annual Academic Conference & International Frontier Symposium on "Glial Cells and Myelin Diseases"in Chongqing from October 17th to 20th, 2025. Researchers and clinicians engaged in glial cell studies are cordially invited to participate. Together, we will explore the physiological and pathological functions of glial cells in myelin formation, discuss cutting-edge advancements, and examine the application of new technologies and methods in glial cell and myelin disease research. Thirty distinguished speakers from China and abroad will share the latest progress. The conference, organized by the CNS Glia Branch, will feature invited lectures and poster sessions, encouraging presenters to showcase their newest findings. Faculty, clinicians, researchers, graduate students, and industry professionals from universities, hospitals, research institutions, and companies across China are warmly welcome to register.
       神经胶质细胞是中枢神经系统中最主要的细胞类型，在大脑的功能活动中扮演着至关重要的角色。近年来，少突胶质细胞及髓鞘的生理功能及其在脑疾病中的重要作用日益受到广泛而深入的研究，已成为神经科学与神经病学领域关注的焦点之一。为促进神经胶质细胞研究及相关领域的国内外合作交流，中国神经科学学会神经胶质细胞分会定于2025年10月17日至20日在重庆市举办2025年学术年会暨“神经胶质细胞与髓鞘疾病”前沿国际研讨会。诚邀广大从事神经胶质细胞研究的基础与临床科研人员踊跃参会，共同探讨胶质细胞在髓鞘形成中的生理病理功能及其前沿进展，并探讨新技术、新方法在胶质细胞和髓鞘疾病研究中的应用，届时将有30位国内外讲者分享国内外进展。会议由中国神经科学学会神经胶质细胞分会主办，采用邀请报告与墙报交流相结合的形式，鼓励报告人展示最新研究成果。热忱欢迎全国高等院校、医院、研究机构及企业的教师、临床医护工作者、科技工作者及研究生积极报名参加。大会语言为英文。
